P•U•L•S•E (pronounced and sometimes written as Pulse) is a Pink Floyd concert video taken from the October 20, 1994 concert at Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, in The Division Bell tour, originally released on VHS and Laserdisc in 1995, which is currently available on DVD.

There was considerable delay in the release of the DVD edition of P•U•L•S•E, with new features announced with each setback. Pink Floyd - Live at Live8

Pink Floyd are an English top progressive rock band that initially earned recognition for their psychedelic rock music, and, as they evolved, for their progressive rock music. They are known for philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, innovative cover art, and elaborate live shows. One of rock music's most successful acts, the group have sold over 200 million albums worldwide including 74.5 million albums in the United States alone.
Pink Floyd had moderate mainstream success and were one of the most popular bands in the London underground music scene in the late 1960s as a psychedelic band led by Syd Barrett; however, Barrett's erratic behaviour eventually forced his colleagues to replace him with guitarist and singer David Gilmour. After Barrett's departure, singer and bass player Roger Waters gradually became the dominant and driving force in the group in the late-1970s, until his eventual departure from the group in 1985. The band recorded several albums, achieving worldwide success with The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977), and The Wall (1979). In 1985, Waters declared Pink Floyd "a spent force", but the remaining members, led by Gilmour, continued recording and touring under the name Pink Floyd. Although they were unsuccessfully sued by Waters for rights to the name, they again enjoyed worldwide success with A Momentary Lapse of Reason (1987) and The Division Bell (1994). Eventually they reached a settlement out of court with Waters allowing them use of the name. Waters performed with the band for the first time in 24 years on 2 July 2005 at the London Live 8 concert.

Most music videos on the DVD have been converted to 16:9 widescreen. This was achieved by cropping large amounts of picture from the top and bottom of the original 4:3 frame. This has caused much controversy among many fans who want the videos presented in their original aspect ratio, and see the conversion as unnecessary and detrimental to the original material.

97.20 minutes
Casiopea was a Japanese jazz fusion band that was formed in 1976 by guitarist Issei Noro and bassist Tetsuo Sakurai. In 1977, keyboardist Minoru Mukaiya and drummer Takashi Sasaki joined the group. The group debuted with the album Casiopea in 1979, featuring Randy Brecker and Michael Brecker as guest musicians. In 1980, Takashi was replaced by Akira Jimbo. Casiopea has released over 30 albums to date in both Japan and the United States.

Casiopea _ Live concerts "Perfect Live"| Japanese Jazz Fusion Free Live Concert Videos

Some of Casiopea's most famous tracks include Asayake, Galactic Funk and Eyes of The Mind. Galactic Funk first featured in their 1981 album "Crosspoint" which had around 10 different versions recorded both live and in studio.

Casiopea has been countlessly regarded as "similar" to the British band Level 42. Also, Casiopea has played live with various artists such as Level 42, The Square and Sync DNA (Hiroyuki Noritake).

The album Eyes of the Mind was released in the United States in 1981. They then released the album Mint Jams in 1982, followed by Four by Four the same year, which was a collaborative album with some members of Fourplay, including Lee Ritenour, Harvey Mason, Nathan East and Don Grusin. Their first overseas concert was held in the United Kingdom in 1983. The group has toured Europe, South America, Australia, and Southeast Asia.

In 1989, Akira Jimbo and Tetsuo Sakurai left the band following several years of musical differences. They later formed their own duo-band, Jimsaku. For their replacement, Casiopea chose Yoshihiro Naruse (bass) and Masaaki Hiyama (drums).

In 1993, the group once again changed its members. Noriaki Kumagai came to replace Masaaki. Then in 1997, Akira returned to Casiopea, this time as a part-time member, recording more albums and again contributing some of the compositions.

In 2006, Issei Noro, the group's leader, decided to freeze all activities of the band until further notice.

Genesis are an English rock band formed in 1967. With approximately 150 million albums sold worldwide, Genesis are among the top 30 highest-selling recording artists of all time. In 1988 the band won a Grammy Award for Best Concept Music Video. The longest-tenured members of Genesis are Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford, and Tony Banks. Peter Gabriel, Anthony Phillips and Steve Hackett were also members of the band in its early days.
Genesis began as a 1960s pop band playing moody, simple keyboard-driven melodies. During the 1970s they evolved into a progressive rock band and began to incorporate complex song structures and elaborate instrumentation, while their concerts took on a more theatrical tone. This second phase was characterised by lengthy performances such as the twenty-three minute "Supper's Ready" and, in 1974, the concept album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. Gabriel departed in 1975 as did Hackett in 1977. In the 1980s, the band produced more accessible pop music based on melodic hooks; this change of direction gave them their first number one album in the United Kingdom, Duke, and their only number one single in the United States, "Invisible Touch".

Genesis has changed personnel several times. Founding member Anthony 'Ant' Phillips left the band in 1970 due to stage fright. Most significantly, Collins, the band's drummer, replaced Gabriel as lead singer in 1975 after a lengthy search for a replacement, while still maintaining his drumming duties in the studio. To facilitate Collins's move to lead vocals during concerts, Bill Bruford, and later Chester Thompson, played drums for the band on-stage, with Collins joining in briefly during lengthy instrumental passages. Collins has been the band's singer ever since (except for a brief period when he was replaced by the comparatively unknown Ray Wilson (formerly of Stiltskin) for the 1997 album Calling All Stations). As a result of the commercial failure of Calling All Stations, the band announced an indefinite hiatus. However, in 2007, Banks, Collins and Rutherford reunited for a 20-city tour of Europe and North America, which included a concert at Rome's Circo Massimo in front of 500,000 fans.

Michael Angelo Batio - No Boundaries _ The fastest guitar player

Michael Angelo Batio is an American instrumental rock/heavy metal guitarist and columnist from Chicago, Illinois. He attended Northeastern Illinois University and received a bachelor's degree in music theory and composition. Guitar One Magazine named him the fastest guitar player of all time.
Michael Angelo Batio - No Boundaries

Style
Batio is ambidextrous, and can play two guitars at the same time - either in synchronization or using separate harmonies, as shown when he plays his famous Double Guitar. When playing one guitar, he plays as a right-handed person even though he is naturally left-handed. He is noted for his "MAB Over-Under" technique, which he invented, where he flips his hand over and under the neck, approaching the strings from above, then below, instead of from under the neck like other guitar players. Batio often plays with his fret hand above the neck, in a piano-playing style.

Batio taught guitarist Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave fame) while Batio was attending college. Tom has credited MAB with teaching him in a feature article in Guitar World Magazine in 2005. Batio also gave lessons to guitarist Mark Tremonti after Creed broke up and Tremonti wanted to learn more techniques.

Bo Diddley _ The best gig _ The greatest blue guitarist

Bo Diddley the greatest blue guitarist (December 30, 1928 – June 2, 2008) was an American rock and roll singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Often cited as a key figure in the transition from blues to rock and roll, he introduced more insistent, driving rhythms and a hard-edged guitar sound. He was also known for his characteristic rectangular guitar.
He died on June 2, 2008 at the age of 79 of heart failure at his home in Archer, Florida Garry Mitchell, a grandson of Diddley and one of more than 35 family members at the musician's home when he died at about 1:45 a.m.EDT (0545 GMT), said his death was not unexpected. "There was a gospel song that was sung and he said 'wow' with a thumbs up," Mitchell told Reuters, when asked to describe the scene at Diddley's deathbed. "The song was 'Walk Around Heaven' and in his last words he said that he was going to heaven."

Yngwie Malmsteen - Blues guitar lesson

Amazing blues guitar solo
The blues scale is a hexatonic scale consisting of the minor pentatonic scale plus the ♯4 or ♭5 degree, however, since blues notes (or blue notes) are alternate inflections, strictly speaking there can be no one blues scale. As named in contemporary jazz theory its use will be based upon the key and not the immediate chord, unlike some chords used in jazz.

Yngwie J. Malmsteen - Amazing blues guitar solo

The "blues scale" may also be a diatonic scale with lowered third, fifth, and seventh degrees and blues practice is derived from the "conjunction of 'African scales' and the diatonic western scales". Steven Smith argues that ""to assign blues notes to a 'blues scale' is a momentous mistake, then, after all, unless we alter the meaning of 'scale'"
