They were once listed by the Guinness Book of World Records as "the globe's loudest band", and have sold over 100 million albums worldwide, including 7.5 million certified units in the US. Artificial Harmonics - Free Guitar Video Lessons

To produce an artificial harmonic, a stringed instrument player holds down a note on the neck with the non-dominant hand, thereby shortening the vibrational length of the string, uses a finger to lightly touch a point on the string that is an integer divisor of its vibrational length, and plucks or bows the side of the string that is closer to the bridge. This technique is used to produce harmonic tones that are otherwise inaccessible on the instrument. To guitar players, one variety of this technique is known as a pinch harmonic.

Artificial Harmonics - Free Guitar Video Lessons

This technique, like natural harmonics, works by canceling out the fundamental tone and one or more partial tones by deadening their modes of vibration.

AC/DC Live - Let There Be Rock - The Movie - Live in Paris - Best Hard Rock

AC/DC Live - Let There Be Rock - The Movie - Live in Paris - Best Hard Rock
93.36 minutes
Let There Be Rock: The Movie - Live In Paris is a live double CD by the hard rock band AC/DC, released as "Disc Two" and "Disc Three" of the Bonfire box set in 1997 (see 1997 in music).

The album was recorded live at the Pavillon de Paris in Paris, France on 9 December 1979. A motion picture of this concert, entitled AC/DC: Let There Be Rock, was released theatrically and on videotape in 1980. However, the movie does not contain the performance of "T.N.T." included on this album, while the album does not contain the band interviews found on the film.

AC/DC Live - Let There Be Rock - The Movie - Live in Paris - Best Hard Rock

Track list
"Live Wire"
"Shot Down In Flames"
"Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be"
"Sin City"
"Bad Boy Boogie"
"The Jack"
"Highway to Hell"
"Girls Got Rhythm"
"High Voltage"
"Whole Lotta Rosie"
"Rocker"
"Let There Be Rock"

The concert starts with the quiet intro-bass of the song Live Wire which roars like a freight train by its conclusion. Another highlight is Angus breaking a string while soloing during Whole Lotta Rosie and a roadie hooks a strap on to Angus' replacement guitar while Angus plays on.

Though this album shares a name with AC/DC's fourth studio album, Let There Be Rock, it also includes live versions of songs from High Voltage (Australian), T.N.T., Powerage, and Highway to Hell. The cover used on "Disc Three" of the Bonfire box set featured similar cover art to that used on the international and current Australian editions of the Let There Be Rock album, and on the movie poster and videotape package of AC/DC: Let There Be Rock.
